We are marching on the 20th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq by US, Australia and the UK - we call for peace, justice and the abolition of weapons of mass destruction.
We demand that Julian Assange, whose only crime is telling the truth about western powers wars, is freed.
To make sure we don't see a repeat of the horrors of the Iraq war, we are saying no to the AUKUS military pact with the US and UK.
We are saying no to Australia buying nuclear-powered submarines that will be used in a war with China.
AUKUS and hunter killer nuclear submarines will syphon off hundreds of billions of public funds from health, education, housing and many urgent social and economic needs of the people and urgent action to mitigate climate crisis.
We will march through the city, ending with a festival in a park.
