Were you one of the millions of people who marched against the US led invasion of Iraq?聽On the March 19, 2003 the US聽led a military invasion of Iraq based on its own fabricated secret intelligence that Iraq was hiding weapons of mass destruction and working with terrorists. No WMDs or evidence of ties between al-Qaeda and the Iraqi regime were found.
7 years later WikiLeaks, with documents provided by Chelsea Manning, exposed the true face of the Iraq war and hard evidence of US war crimes, including the infamous 鈥渃ollateral murder鈥 video. Instead of prosecuting those responsible for the crimes the US聽is politically persecuting the messenger, Julian Assange.
Meanwhile PM Anthony Albanese is making deals for nuclear submarines using tax payers money.
聽to聽hear聽from Dean Yates who was the Reuters Bureau Chief in Baghdad at the time the Collateral Murder killings took place. We will march from the State Library to Treasury Gardens via 90 Collins St, stopping by at the British Consulate to shout out聽!
