Now more than ever, the global cry for a ceasefire resonates in every corner of the globe. As our global leaders continue to supress the collective voice of the zeitgeist, it is incumbent upon us - We The People - to unite in our grief and hope, advocating for the world we wish to see.
A world where Palestinian neighbourhoods aren't reduced to ash with the click of a finger, where bodies are not indistinguishable from rubble. A world where almost a century of brutal occupation gives way to a peace movement that echoes across the diaspora all around the entire worldÂ
This ceasefire event is an opportunity for us to connect with a global network of advocates for a just and fair world. To find joy and dance in moments of despair becomes a revolutionary act in itself and ceasefire or no ceasefire come January the 13th we will come together.
Thank you to all the artists and volunteers who have donated their time to this cause. All funds raised from this event will support humanitarian aid efforts in Palestine as well as support future protests, action groups and community eventsÂ
From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free.

The Watermelon Fund would like to acknowledge that we will meet on the stolen land of the Bundjalung people and we are committed to decolonisation in all our endeavours.
We would also like to pay our respects to their elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been cededÂ
