Australia is not immune from the far-right threat. Billionaires like Clive Palmer and Gina Rinehart want to import Trump's politics here. Palmer's "Trumpet of Patriots" party and Jacinta Price's "Make Australia Great Again" comments give us a glimpse of what that would look like.
We need a radical movement to challenge the far right. Politicians like Albanese & the Labor Party won't do it - they champion the US alliance, including the $368 billion dollar AUKUS nuclear submarine deal. They say "don't risk Dutton" but then preference the far right over left-wing parties in the federal election.
