Amnesty International North-East Metro Group听补苍诲听Menzies for Palestine聽invite you to attend this thought-provoking documentary film screening.
Palestine Under Siege聽is a new documentary film shot in the middle of 2023 in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel, which takes you into the heart of the struggle for Palestinian self-determination.聽It highlights the human rights abuses suffered by the Palestinian people from the time of the 1948 Nakba, via personal interviews and in-depth research.聽Palestinian and Jewish human rights activists speak about the movement to dismantle Israeli apartheid.
The screening will be followed by a聽Q&A session聽featuring guests including Dr Bushra Othman, a聽Palestinian-Australian surgeon who recently returned from聽volunteering at Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in聽Deir Al-Balah, Gaza.
Doors open at 6.45 pm and the film will commence聽at 7 pm.聽The Q&A session will run until 9:30 pm.
