The case against Israel for committing genocide at the International Court of Justice couldn't be clearer. As South Africa's closing statement highlighted, 247 people have been killed every day since Israel's attacks began, each day 10 children will be amputated without anaesthetic. Almost the entire population has been displaced.

But Australian politicians and the Australian media, are providing cover for Israel's crimes. Journalist Antoinette Lattouf was unfairly sacked for her commitment to the truth, and the Education Department has attempted to similarly silence teachers. But still the solidarity movement fighting to stop the genocide is growing.

Come and hear Randa Abdel-Fattah on what Australia's media won't tell you about Gaza, and discuss what actions we can take as teachers, school staff, and other workers, to build solidarity with Palestine, as the school year starts.

All welcome (whilst this event has been organised by school staff, you don't need to work in a school to attend)
