Join us for an immersive evening of learning, culture and connection creating space to share knowledge and understanding with a focus on Palestine.

Rawan Arraf, who is the Executive Director and Principal Lawyer at the Australian Centre for International Justice, will discuss Australia鈥檚 obligations under the Genocide Convention, and the implications of ICJ provisional orders, particularly on defence cooperation with Israel and the withdrawal of Australian aid to Palestine.

Exploring the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and South Africa鈥檚 application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip, a Q&A session will follow the conversation.

This is a free event open to everyone in the community.
Registration essential. Register at聽

Donations welcome. Any funds raised will go to cover the costs of the event. Any additional funds will be donated to UNRWA.

Upcoming conversations will focus on the experiences of people with disability in occupied territories, and the technological dimensions of occupation, exploring the influence of AI, drones, and surveillance, and the worldwide export of these technologies from Israel.

In recognition of the integral nature of resistance through art, music and culture, each forum will incorporate a creative element. Artistic narrative has played a critical role in resisting occupation and inspiring change and revolution, throughout history and particularly in Palestine. Israel has murdered academics, poets, artists, intellectuals and musicians, in what can only be interpreted as cultural eradication. However, the words of Refaat Alareer ring eternal, "if I die, you must live to tell my story"... the narrative of resistance, lives on in the words of those who survive, who share their stories and bring attention to truth...Palestinian culture and identity will pervade!!

Conversations for Palestine aims to both educate and sound a strong call to action.

The Hunter Round Table is a collective of individuals committed to human rights in Palestine.
