Where
cnr Southern Rd & Oriel Rd,
Heidelberg Heights VIC 3081
Australia Why
In 2011, the children of Gaza broke the world record for the largest number of kites flown simultaneously. On the coast of Gaza, 15,000 children filled the Gazan blue skies with messages of hope.
On International Kite Day, Sunday 14th January, we are adding our voice to and raising awareness of the call for a ceasefire in the Gaza strip, to prevent further casualties and allow for humanitarian aid to the survivors of bombings.
Bring a kite or just come to see kite's flying at Malahang Reserve. This is a safe family friendly kite flying event.
