Discussion points for the bookclub:
1. Jonathan Cook tells us South Africa鈥檚 former Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu pointed out Palestinians under occupation suffer from something more extreme than (the former South African regime of) apartheid. Discuss 鈥渁partheid-plus鈥�.
2. What is national self-determination? Why is a colonial-settler state racist? How is national oppression ended when a colonial settler-state has been established, as in Palestine?
3. What is the relationship of the fight for Palestinian self-determination to the rights of all the people who live 鈥渂etween the river and the sea鈥�. Also discuss 鈥渃riticism of Israel cannot be equated with antisemitism鈥� (p. 42).
