Join the next Nationwide March for Palestine, scheduled for Sunday, 12th October, to mark the two-year anniversary of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Demonstrations will be held across cities and towns throughout Australia.
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, we have witnessed devastating events in recent weeks. Most notably, a double airstrike on a major hospital resulted in the deaths of 20 individuals, including journalists and healthcare workers. Furthermore, the United Nations has officially declared a famine within the Gaza Strip.
On August 24th, Australia saw the largest mobilisation for Palestine in our nation’s history. Despite this significant show of solidarity and public support, the Australian government has yet to take meaningful action to halt the genocide.
Therefore, we are renewing our calls for:
- Immediate sanctions on the Israeli state
- An end to the two-way arms trade
- The expulsion of the Israeli ambassador
