Our September book is an anthology of writings by trans feminist Susan Stryker, edited by McKenzie Wark. When Monsters Speak is a vast and winding collection of work spanning 30 years and ranging from the densely theoretical to the activist to the avant garde. Susan Stryker’s contributions to trans studies, feminist theory, and trans feminisms are incalculable and this anthology gives us a chance to sit with these ideas as they have transmogrified in and across time and context.
We meet in the Napier Building at the University of Adelaide's North Terrace campus, please contact readingfeminism21@gmail.com or message if you need directions
