Rally against the Release of Nuclear Wastewater into the Ocean.聽Please join us for a peaceful protest.
The Japanese government started releasing treated water from the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant on August 24, 2023. Fukushima's nuclear wastewater contains more than 60 kinds of radioactive elements. It's not just tritium in this water, there are other, more toxic, substances, such as cesium-137, strontium-90 and cobalt-60. TEPCO and the Japanese government covered up important information that may provoke strong opposition from many people, and spent 70 billion yen to cover up the bad press about Japan鈥檚 nuclear wastewater discharge. The situation is getting more severe. It is not only a problem for Japan, but a common problem for people all over the world.
