Samiha Olwan - a Palestinian activist from Gaza. She is a researcher in literary, cultural and gender studies with a PhD in English and comparative literature from Murdoch University and a masters degree in cultural studies from Durham University, UK. Before arriving in Australia in 2014, Samiha worked with the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights in Gaza and taught at the Islamic University of Gaza

Vivienne Porszolt - an activist from Jews Against the Occupation. In 2011 she joined the Flotilla for Gaza, and after her vessel was prevented from sailing, flew to Tel Aviv where she was detained by Israeli authorities. Her work in support of the Palestinian cause is explored in the book Beyond Tribal Loyalties - Personal Stories of Jewish Peace Activists.

Jason Damouni - a Palestinian Christian activist who works in the renewable energy sector. He is passionate about empowering Palestinians and shifting the global, ideological and political conversations regarding Palestinian people and Palestine.
