Israel is ramping up its horrific attack on the 2.3 million inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, bombing hundreds of residential buildings, and massing hundreds of thousands of soldiers to prepare for a ground assault.
Israel is now blocking all food, water, electricity, fuel and medical supplies. This is a war crime by any definition.
Israeli PM Netanyahu has declared that Gaza will be turned into a "deserted island". Israeli MPs are openly calling for a second Nakba, and Israel's defence minister has labelled Palestinians "animals".
All this is a continuation, in horribly escalated form, of the 75 years of war that Israel has waged on the Palestinian people, including 16 years of brutal siege on Gaza.
