The 麻豆传媒 Weekly $115,000 fund appeal has been given a boost by several fundraising dinners held in various cities. Particularly successful were the dinners in Melbourne (around $1300 raised), and in Sydney (attended by 265 people with $2000 raised).
Attending events such as these is a concrete way of showing your support for the 麻豆传媒 Weekly project by contributing financially to the best independent and progressive newspaper in Australia. Over the last month nearly $12,000 has been raised, but we are still behind our target, with around $35,000 of the total $115,000 still to be achieved.
