First Nations people demand killer cops be bought to justice

First Nations activists prevented killer cop Zachary Rolfe, who shot and killed Kumanjayi Walker in 2019, from speaking at a police conference on June 21.

The conference was cancelled in response to the rally, which was called by .

Activists assembled anyway, to demand justice for Kumanjayi White, who was killed by police in Alice Springs in May. They also demanded an end to Black deaths in custody.

The protest also marked 18 years since the start of the draconian Northern Territory Intervention.
